“Soleil” brings together different cultures through the values of Francophonie and presents Bulgaria’s rich cultural heritage to an international audience.
The festival is hosted in the town of Sozopol — a cultural and historical symbol of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast with more than 2,700 years of history.
Official guests staying with us will include the ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Greece, Turkey, and Albania, as well as diplomats from these countries. Among our guests will also be Prof. Dr. Dimitar Veselinov, Prof. Zoran Peykovski, Yavor Koynakov, Kamen Vodenicharov, and other distinguished personalities.
Festival visitors can look forward to a rich cultural program featuring theatre performances, musical concerts, film screenings, and creative meetings with participants from more than 10 countries. At the official opening on 03.06, Greek musician Alexandros Tzovani will perform as a special guest. Many Bulgarian musicians dedicated to the Francophone theme will also take part, including Vera Shandel, Prof. Acho Zaberski, Stundzhi, and Boris Taslev.
